Studio Assistant and Arts Management Mentor

As the Studio Assistant at this art mentoring program, my job is to fill in the gaps and provide help where it is needed. From helping maintain the studio space, to working with mentees to bring their projects to life, and other day to day operations.

As the Arts Management Mentor I work with the mentees on developing professional practice skills to help them feel more comfortable navigating the art world. We learn how to plan an event, install a show, write proposals and more.

Gallery Director

Director of this semi-trailer turned gallery entails many different jobs. I work directly with artists putting together installation and engagement based shows as well as maintain the gallery space, coordinating transportation of the gallery to events, and put my creative problem solving to use regularly.

BFF Omaha's Green Team

Green Team Manager

In this position I work to build community through leading weekly neighborhood cleanups. I also help plan educational activities centered around sustainability, and weigh in on the overall sustainability and beautification efforts of BFF Omaha and the Benson Neighborhood.

Benson Plot Leader

As plot leader I am one of the head people looking after the plot. This entails staying on top of the watering schedule, harvesting crops, and overall maintenance of the space. I am also the one responsible for organizing group work days on the plot and helping instruct volunteers on these work days.

This year I am also the Harvest Coordinator which means I work with the leads on the other plots Free Farm manages to see what crops we have for distributing to the community each week.
